The Austin Sports Report is a sports blog. We are reporting things, but we’re also commenting on things, which means not everything we write will be unbiased. But, our opinion stuff is labeled as such.

“We” are a small group of people who have been in the sportswriting industry, and we’re trying to break into the growing online community of sports journalism consumers.

We are also going to comment on the Austin sports media, and perhaps get some interviews with prominent members.

Most of all, we want to provide content that matters to you and that will get you thinking and talking. And, as we’ve learned, sometimes people will disagree with what we say. We don’t see this as a bad thing. It helps us learn. It helps the entire online sportswriting community learn.
